Build your own Apple II VGA card: listing is PCB ONLY. While supplies last I have full kits available for this card Vince Briel\'s github (above) for assembly instructions and Apple II system support information. This card supports the original authors firmware as well, which has awesome things like soft scanline support, see the last photos in this sale, and the author of the firmware\'s release (the command shown in the photos enables soft scanlines if this card is in slot 7. Other config option soft switches have to be calculated appropriately).
I have built these for myself, but these aren\'t my extra PCBs. This is a production run made to \"better than prototype\" specifications. The differences between this and the cheaper cards offered elsewhere are below:
- Remove solder mask from length of edge connector - Having no solder mask between fingers is recommended for PCB edge connectors to avoid flaking
- 30 degree beveling of edge connector / trim fingers appropriately to accommodate
- 2U ENIG plating of the whole card, instead of JLCPCB 1U. See the difference in the quality of finish in the last photo
