AMT 1958 FORD FAIRLANE 3 IN 1 Model Car kit - issued in 1958 - KIT #3FKHT-139.
This car is an original vintage 1958 model in very exceptional condition - the the body, chrome bumpers, tires and hub caps,glass, base etc are in near mint condition. Someone did paint the side molding in gold paint otherwise it is unpainted and the plastic ispracticallylike new.
It is missing one right front fender rear view mirror otherwise its pretty complete for the stock version.There are 2 extra chrome parts that were never put on - a rear antenna and a chrome custom exhaust pipe end. I don't know what other parts should have been with it for the custom versions as there is no instruction sheet - no decals. The body is super straight with no warping to the plastic.
These models went together with 4 screws like on a dealer promotional model and many of these 3 in 1 cars are the same car as the promo just not molded in color.The body on this car is super straight with no warping to the plastic like some of the promo models have.
The box is in exceptional condition considering its 55 years old. It has no broken corners and just some very light shelf wear - see the pictures.
