Honest note on the built-in OS

The unit ships with Android 8 (manufactured 2022). The Android OS is the one thing on this unit that isn't current. Most commercial deployments use an external HDMI source — Chromebox, Intel NUC, mini PC, or a Windows/Linux laptop via the three HDMI inputs — and treat the built-in Android as a bonus. If you plan to run Teams Desktop, the newest Miro, AnyDesk, etc., I'd recommend driving the display from an external PC. The built-in Android still works fine for web browsing, signage CMS apps, and Zoom Rooms via Chrome.

Note: per iiyama's datasheet, native touch is supported on Windows 10/11 and Linux (Kernel 3.0+); macOS is not supported for touch (you can still use a Mac as an HDMI source if you only need it as a display).
