1.) Cleaned device with compressed air. 2.) Installed a test set of batteries, which are not included, to test for proper functionality. 3.)Unplugged the UPS from the wall outlet to test for proper transfer during a power outage. 4.) Tested each AC outlet on the back of the UPS for functionality using a 75W bulb while on battery power.
