In 1978, Apple Computer'introduced the Apple II and the II+, a computer that first came with a cassette interface for loading programs. Revolutionary at the time. Then with the introduction of its first external floppy disk drive, the Disk II, and the Apple DOS 3.1 operating system. The self-contained unit was popular in homes, schools, and small businesses and featured a keyboard, power supply, and the ability to connect to a TV as a display. I purchased my Apple II computer and monitor. I briefly used the Star Wars/Star Trek cassette for entertainment. Then came out the Beagle Bros. Software in a 5 1/2" floppy disc format. Entertainment to the max for Apple enthusiasts and BASIC programmers. If you lived through the Apple era then you know that the Apple II's evolved into the Apple IIGS. As Apple introduced new computers I purchased them and enjoyed every moment with them. My Apple II computer and equipment were sold, but I still for some reason held on to the Star Wars/Star Trek cassette thet fed my computer its intellect. In any case it has sat on my computer desk since I bought and retired it.

I am the original purchaser and owner of this Apple cassette. How many times has it been used... I have no clue. Does it still work perfectly after sitting on a shelf in a smoke free and pet free home... I have no clue. I can say the cassette has not been exposed to any magnetic field. So this is an as is sale with no returns.Ask questions or for more pictures if you are interested.
