The grey discs/installers that are shipped with the unit are Mac specific and can only be used on the Mac they were created for.
If you no longer have these discs or you need any help getting your iMac back to the original factory installation,please let me know the Serial Number from your Mac(usually printed underneath – iMac look under the stand), and I will help further.
