It is being sold strictly as a donor board for micro-soldering experts to harvest the GDDR6 memory, VRMs, or other SMD components.​Diagnostic History & Current State:​The Core: When powered, the silicon die remains completely cold.
​The Short: The card trips the power supply instantly when plugged into a motherboard.
​12V Inputs: Multimeter testing shows NO dead short to ground on the 8-pin power connector or the first three 12V pins on the PCIe edge connector.
​12V Injection: Tested the 12V rail against the VCORE chokes; shows high resistance (OL/kOhms), indicating the high-side MOSFETs are likely intact and 12V did NOT bypass into the GPU die.
​Prior Repair Attempt: A DIY hot air reflow was attempted on the GPU core (150°C bottom preheat, 340°C top air with flux). The card remains in the exact same condition as before the reflow.
​Physical Condition:
​PCB is fully intact with no cracked fiberglass or burnt traces.
​The card has been opened and probed with a multimeter.
​Missing some original chassis/cooler screws, the back plate also has some dents and scratches but the pcb is unaffected in these areas.
