This adapter allows you to use a modern 27c64, 27c128, 27c256 or 27c512 - 28 pin eprom or equivalent IC (eg. w27c512) with your Commodore 64 or Vic20 that has an older 24 pin socket.Compatible with original and alternative kernel versions or JiffyDos.

1. Switch the VIC-20 off.
2. Remove the original Kernel or BASIC ROM IC from it's socket.
3. Place a programmed ROM into the adapter socket (not included).
4. Plug the ROM Replacement board into the empty kernel or basic socket, paying attention to the chips lip alignment with the board lip and not bending pins.
5. Switch on.
