We have about 10 laptops with 6th gen processors that all have some sort of cosmetic defect (broken grill, cracked corner, screen nick, cracked screen bezel, etc). The pictures are of most of the machines to give you an idea of what the defects look like. These are just cosmetic flaws, so the laptop functions just fine.
