Hello,
Up for sale is ONE Dell Poweredge R840 24 Bay NVME 2U Rack Mount Server. This server comes with FOUR Intel Xeon Platinum 8160 CPUs, a total of 96 cores and 192 threads in one system.
You are getting the exact machine from the photos. This server shipped from the factory with 24 x U.2 NVME SSD drives, all NVME drives were removed by the customer before it was sold to us. So this machine has no storage of any kind.
The NVME cabling and backplane are intact, and so are the original caddys. You can install your own U.2 NVME drives in this machine.
This is a 2U Rack Mount Server that takes up to 24 x U.2 NVME 2.5" drives in the front 24 bays, Takes up to 48 x Registered ECC DDR4 memory modules, and uses FOUR x Socket LGA3647 Xeon CPUs.
Metal lid has multiple thin surface scratches to metal lid cover. This is just cosmetic wear, so photos of actual machine you will be getting.
Everything included in this sale comes with a 30 day warranty. The motherboard has a 30 day warranty, the CPUs have a 30 day warranty, the power supplies have a 30 day warranty, etc. But this is NOT a complete machine! It needs a NVME SSD, It needs an Operating system, it has no rack rails, and the RAM configuration is minimal.
System Specs:
