Dell Vostro 1710 2GB RAM/160GB HDD Core2 Duo, CD/DVD, No OS
This is a working Dell Vostro 1710 laptop, with 2 GB installed memory and a 160GB OEM HDD, including an integrated CD/DVD player, front headphone jack / SD card reader, firewire port, ethernet port, VGA port, and I believe 6 total USB ports. It has the Intel Core2 Duo processor. See BIOS screens in the photos for further details. Unfortunately, Dell pulled the original specs and info on this laptop from their site, so I am only going by what the BIOS screens show. Dell also pulled the OEM Windows Vista OS installation media, so I don't have a way to put Windows back on this. I had Debian 11 Linux on it, and will wipe the drive before shipping. If you would like me to install the latest version of Debian (13) Linux on it before I ship it please message me and for a $10 charge (for my time), I will install that on it.The only issue I know is that the internal fan (when it actually runs which is rare), made a rattling noise and may need to be replaced. The keyboard also has significant wear on it (see photos). This is a very nice laptop with a HUGE 17" screen, and an extended keyboard complete with number pad.
No power supply is included. Otherwise, what you see is what you get (just the laptop itself) and the OEM battery (I do not know how much capacity it has left but it was charging up when I tested it). Please examine all photos and ask any questions before offerding. Please make sure you have the knowledge to install your own OS on this laptop.
Item sold as described, no returns, please!
