Ultra Spec Cable's Single Fiber, 40mm Fiber Optic Splice Protection Sleeve is vital in safeguarding the junction point between two fusion spliced optical fibers. The clear sleeve consists of a polyolefin heat-shrinkable outer tube, a meltable adhesive inner tube and a stainless steel strength member with rounded and polished ends. The tubes are precisely cut to 40mm, so they're all consistent in length and burr free, to ensure an accurate and proper alignment for each splice and prevention from flexing and bending in the spliced area. The Recovered Diameter is 2.6mm, which makes them compatible with all major manufacturers fusion splicers and modules/trays. They're user-friendly, durable and each pack includes 100 easy to use sleeves that are perfect for use with our Wall Mount Fiber Enclosures with Splicing Modules.
