Data Plans

• Data plan purchase is optional; however, if you choose to purchase the modem without a data plan, be aware that your carrier may not support data only devices and the modem may not work with your service plan. We are here to help you get the modem working, but we have no control over your carrier if they choose to block the modem or services because it is not supported on your plan.
• Data plans purchased with modems are offered at an introductory rate. If you choose to continue the service beyond the selected term, you are welcome and encouraged to do so, but you must commit to a rate which is MORE than the rate offered with the modem purchase. Our standard rates as of 04/01/2023 are listed below. (Pricing does change from time to tome. See our website for the most accurate pricing)

Modem Firmware:

Modems with data plans: USLTE has a proprietary firmware which is used to help us manage your device and ensure it will work consistently. Our custom firmware will be installed on ALL modems purchased with data plans. You will not be allowed access to the firmware settings. If you need settings changed, such as the WIFI password, you must call us and request the change.

Modem with BYOD data plans: A generic firmware will be installed on all modems purchased without a dedicated data plan. You will have access to all firmware settings. Any firmware configurations, changes, or issues you may have will be YOUR responsibility. This includes getting your data plan to work on the modem. Returns ARE NOT ACCEPTED for any BYOD modem purchases.
