This is a 1 TB OEM drive, pulled from a high-end 2012 Mac Mini server. I replaced one of the two drives in that unit with an SSD, and this is the one I removed.
It’s a 5400 rpm spinning hard drive which appears to be manufactured by Hitachi, but identifies itself in Disk Utility as an “APPLE HD D HTS541010A9E66”. I have erased the drive and reformatted it in HFS+ (ie Mac OSX extended journaled), but it could be reformatted as AFP for more recent Macs (if desired) or in a PC format. It is a SATA III drive.
It shows no errors in Disk Utility, and I am not aware of any problems with the drive. I left the thin black plastic cover on the back as that was how it came out of the OEM unit.
Will ship for free in well-padded envelope or box by tracked USPS or equivalent.
