Genuine Apple USB SuperDrive (A1379) with Original Box - Tested Working on Mac
Price: US $39.00

Genuine Apple USB SuperDrive, model A1379 (MD564LL/A).

External CD/DVD drive for Macs without a built-in optical drive. Includes original box.

  • Confirmed working when tested on a Mac (desktop, direct USB connection)

  • Works best plugged directly into a Mac's built-in USB-A port; may require Apple's official USB-C adapter (not third-party) on newer USB-C-only MacBooks.Note: This is a well-documented Apple product quirk, not a defect — the SuperDrive draws more power than typical USB accessories and often isn't recognized when connected through a USB-C hub/dongle/adapter on newer MacBook laptops. It's designed for direct native USB-A connection.

  • Also known to be compatible with Windows PCs (may require Apple Boot Camp drivers)

  • Condition: Used, tested working on desktop Mac, includes original box
