Lenovo ThinkPad X200 SSD 480GB RAM 8GB Libreboot Used Japan Genuine Key Features
This is a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad X200 laptop optimized for privacy-conscious users. It features Libreboot pre-installed with GRUB configuration, ensuring enhanced security and open-source firmware. The device is equipped with 8GB DDR3 RAM (maximum capacity), providing smooth multitasking, and a Crucial 480GB SSD (purchased in 2020, minimal usage) for fast storage.
The laptop has undergone maintenance including a fan replacement and thermal paste reapplication in 2020, ensuring reliable cooling. It has been tested and confirmed to operate properly when connected to AC power, though the battery is no longer functional and cannot be charged or used for portable operation.
Please note, the OS is installed, but the device cannot run on battery power. The exterior shows signs of use, with visible wear on the body and corners, which are detailed in the photos. No noticeable scratches or stains are present on the screen or keyboard. The package includes the main unit, AC adapter, and a degraded battery.
Ideal for privacy enthusiasts, Linux users, or those seeking a lightweight, secure laptop.
