Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 1 (Intel Xeon E-2176M) – Parts Only / Repair
Functional Status & Testing
Power & Charging: Powers on, charges properly. Battery holds a charge at approximately 70% health.
Test Results: Temporarily tested with 16GB RAM and an NVMe SSD to successfully install Windows 11. All core hardware detected properly with no system errors.
Display Issue: The display panel functions, but the backlight does not turn on (image only visible with an external light or external monitor). This commonly occurs on ThinkPads when the LCD is swapped without disconnecting the battery.
Repair Needed: Requires a technician or board-level repair (fuse/backlight circuit) to restore native display lighting. Because of this, it is sold strictly AS-IS / Parts Only with no guarantees.
Cosmetic & Physical Condition
Visible wear and tear throughout casing from prior use.
Several bottom base cover screws are missing or do not screw in properly from previous disassembly attempts.
Inspect all photos closely for exact physical condition.
