When installing NVME M.2 SSD, it is important to note that the original hard drive must be upgraded to the new version after high Sierra 10.13. During the upgrade, the smc and boot rom versions of the for mac will be automatically updated to support NVME SSD. Secondly, it is important not to use the built-in network recovery software of the Mac to install a new hard drive for Mac OS, but rather to install it through a USB drive (a USB drive tool for 10.13.6 must be made in advance), so that the new hard drive can be recognized In addition, during installation, it is necessary to format the disk in APFS format. If formatted as HFS, an infinite restart will occur on the installation system interface, and there will be a prompt indicating insufficient disk space.
