M-c-T SpeedDemon Apple II Accelerator – Original Box, Manual & Registration Card

Exceptional surviving example of the Microcomputer Technologies (M-c-T) SpeedDemon accelerator for the Apple II, Apple II Plus and Apple IIe.

The SpeedDemon was one of the notable early Apple II accelerator cards, using a 65C02 processor and cache memory to dramatically increase the performance of a standard Apple II. It was advertised as making the Apple run approximately 3½ times faster.

Included:

• Original M-c-T SpeedDemon accelerator card
• Original silver M-c-T retail box
• Original SpeedDemon Operation Manual / Warranty
• Original unused M-c-T Product Registration Card

Packaging shown in photographs

Condition: This unit appears to have seen little or possibly no use. To the best of my knowledge, it has never been used. The product registration card remains completely blank. The circuit board and components are exceptionally clean for their age.

The original box has some light cosmetic/storage wear, and the manual shows some age spotting/discoloration. Please see the detailed photographs for exact condition.

I do not have an Apple II available to test the card, so it is being sold as untested.

A very nice collector-quality example of an increasingly difficult-to-find Apple II hardware upgrade, particularly with its original box and documentation
