Item Description

Computer dragging a bit these days? Take forever to boot your OS and launch/run your apps? If so, expanding your system's memory is the fastest and easiest way to supercharge its performance! This is especially true for power users that have lots of memory-hogging programs open at once - AI chat sessions, email, multiple web browsers, a background virus scanner, Office apps, etc. If you're running any modern operating system (Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7, Mac OS, Linux, etc.) and don't have enough physical memory to handle both the OS and all of your applications (especially the dozens that run in the background), your PC will be forced to make heavy use of virtual memory - that is, extended memory stored on your Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Drive and literally paged in and out constantly as needed. Not only is this extremely slow (HDDs, for example, are hundreds of times slower than main memory), but it also contributes to dramatically shortening the life expectancy of your HDD because of massive over use! This is also - especially, in fact - the case for Solid State Drives (SSDs), as their cells, particularly for the newer, cost-reduced QLC Flash-based drives, typically have extremely limited re-write capability (QLC Flash cells can typically only be written a few thousand times before they wear out).

With that in mind, I have for sale a genuine Micron 16GB laptop/notebook/All-In-One (AIO) computer memory module. This is a brand new, never used (aside from testing/QC verification) ultra-high-performance memory module originally purchased for a corporate client, but a change of upgrade plans on their part left the module just sitting in my shop. It was fully certified using Memtest86 just prior to listing (multiple verification passes, with each one lasting about an hour) and is absolutely flawless. Please note that Micron SoDIMMs are among the very finest DDR5 laptop memory modules available from any manufacturer anywhere. They are the brand that major manufacturers like Dell, HP, Asus, Lenovo, etc., often use in their latest laptop models, and are also the upgrade brand recommended by many of the world's leading computer enthusiasts because of their outstanding performance and reliability. This is not some cheapo, unreliable, no-name knockoff part but the genuine Micron article! It is absolutely world-class in terms of both performance and quality. Rest assured that this device won't give you any compatibility or reliability headaches!

Item Compatibility

In general, these modules will work with almost any laptop or notebook or All-In-One/AIO computer that accepts standard-voltage (1.10V), non-ECC/non-Registered/Unbuffered 5600MHz (PC5-44800/DDR5-5600) or 5200MHz (PC5-41600/DDR5-5200) or 4800MHz (PC5-38400/DDR5-4800) memory. They will work with nearly all very recent (from around 3-4 years ago) systems from Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Lenovo, etc., that do not incorporate DDR4 memory or require Off-die ECC/Registered/Buffered memory (those systems are rare - generally speaking, only professional mobile workstations require that type of memory). This covers most laptop models employing 12th- or 13th-generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7/i9 CPUs, and Series 1, Series 2 or Series 3 Intel Core 3/5/7/9 and Core Ultra 3/5/7/9 CPUs, as well as their AMD equivalents. Keep in mind, however, that most of these CPUs (in particular, the Intel ones) also support DDR4 memory, so some manufacturers may have decided to employ DDR4 memory in their recent laptops and AIO computers for component cost and/or inventory availability reasons! One notable example of this are recent Core- and Core Ultra-based Dell Inspiron AIO PCs, which still utilize DDR4 memory despite the fact that their CPUs also natively support DDR5 memory.

PLEASE NOTE: All DDR5 SoDIMMs incorporate On-die ECC (ODECC). This is a required part of the DRD5 JEDEC standard and is not optional. ODECC enhances data integrity by detecting and correcting errors within the memory chip itself. Unlike traditional ECC memory, which uses separate chips for error detection and correction, ODECC is integrated directly into the DDR5 memory die. The additional chip(s) used to implement "traditional" ECC results in 72-bit wide data paths that are incompatible with the vast majority of laptops, which use 64-bit wide data paths! Please contact me via messaging if you have any questions at all about ODECC or general compatibility of this module with your laptop or AIO PC.

In a nutshell: I cannot absolutely guarantee that this memory module is compatible with your particular system, nor can I accept liability for improper handling and installation of the module by you after you've received it. So before purchasing, please confirm that your system is compatible either by checking your manufacturer's web site, checking with an AI chatbot or standard online search, or by contacting me with the make and model number of your computer so I can check for you! Additionally, please ensure that your computer's BIOS has been updated to the latest version released by the manufacturer to maximize compatibility with this state-of-the-art DDR5 SoDIMM!

Warranty and Return Info

The 30-day warranty included with this 16GB DDR5 memory moduleonly covers defects in the item itself not already disclosed (absolutely none, inthis case), and is limited to...

• Replacement of the part with one of similar type/quality if available,

• Repair of the item by seller if possible, or

• Refund of the actual item purchase price if a replacement is not available and repair is not possible.

Choice of remedy is at seller's discretion, and buyer may be responsible for shipping fees. In addition, any warranty claim absolutely MUST be handled directly through the seller -replacement or repairs performed by the buyer or by a third party will not be reimbursed by the seller unless advanced, written approval was granted!

Additional warranty limitations - These may seem obvious, but here they are anyway...

• This warranty does not cover damage caused by the installation of this item by someone unqualified to perform the work,

• This warranty does not cover damage caused by screw-ups like bent pins/connectors caused by mishandling the device,

• This warranty does not cover damage caused by modifications to the device,

• This warranty does not cover damage caused by out-of-spec use (e.g., over-clocking, over-volting, baking it in the summer sun, taking your laptop with you into the shower, etc.).

I generally accept "buyer's remorse" returns of most items if you change your mind about a purchase. The returned item must, of course, be in the EXACT same condition as when originally shipped (so re-running Memtest86 should result in identical results as obtained just prior to the original item listing), and all returns must be requested within 7 days of receipt of the item. All returns in general are subject to a "restocking" fee of between 5% and 25% of the total sale price plus shipping, which covers the time and equipment necessary to fully retest and recertify the item, any potential "New"/"Open Box" item depreciation, various fees incurred to relist the item on , and any PayPal fees that are not refunded to the seller even if your payment is refunded. Two-way shipping with full insurance coverage where appropriate is the buyer's responsibility. Please contact me within 7 days of item receipt to request a "buyer's remorse" return.

In the highly unlikely event that you have been shipped the wrong item, your entire purchase price plus shipping in both directions will be refunded. Pleasecontact me immediately for instructions.

I will process all damage claims with the carrier and may request that you return the item. Please retain original shipping containers andnotify me immediately if you suspect damage during shipment.

Finally, for those thinking about swapping this good working memory module for their old broken one and then sending the dud back for a warranty refund, that is simply, absolutely, 100% not goingto work - prior to shipment, this item is extensively photographed, all identifying numbers are cataloged, and special UV and other indelible inks are used to mark random sections of the device. Anyattempts at fraud will be appropriately handled, so don't try!

Shipping and Insurance Info

DOMESTIC U.S. SHIPMENTS:

Insurance to cover the replacement cost of an item lost or damaged during transit is not an optional, separately billable line item during checkout. Therefore, all items of sufficient value automatically carry full insurance coverage for US destinations. This coverage is provided via USPS/FedEx/UPS or ShipCover/other third-party, and is already built into the shipping quote - there is no separate fee charged.

• First Class International is notoriously slow for certain countries, sometimes taking as long as 8 to 10 weeks for final delivery of your package. Please keep that in mind if you select First Class International for shipment of your item.

• For higher-value items (especially those shipped to countries with spotty international package delivery reputations), you may select to have the "Registered Mail" option added to your shipment if you have chosen First Class International Mail delivery. Registered Mail provides full insurance coverage for an item - even for First Class International Mail - but adds $15 or more to the cost of standard postage. Please also keep in mind that USPS Registered Mail requires special handling and tracking by the postal and customs services of both the US and your own country, so delivery often takes a few extra days compared to non-registered mail. • For higher-value items, you also have the option of selecting Priority Mail International delivery. • Many of my small-package listings feature free domestic USPS First Class or Ground Advantage shipping. For the rest, USPS First Class/Ground Advantage shipping, UPS/FedEx Ground shipping, or upgrades to Priority, Priority Express, 2-Day Express, or Overnight shipping, are typically provided at the current published USPS/UPS/FedEx rates plus transit insurance. For international customers, shipping costs are calculated using the published USPS and/or International Shipping rates for the available shipping options, plus transit insurance, extraordinary packaging materials cost (if any), and a very small amount (one US dollar or less) to cover the overhead of filling out various US customs forms.

• Your package will be shipped within 1 business day of receiving a cleared payment. Depending on time of day that a payment is received/cleared, your package may ship the same day. If there is any shipping delay in order to fully process a payment (see 'Payment Details' below for more information), you will be contacted via email and informed of the expected delay.

• All domestic and international shipments include a delivery confirmation number, tracking number, registered mail number, and/or customs number, depending on the method of shipment selected and shipping vendor (please see important limitation above regarding tracking and delivery confirmation for First Class International packages). These numbers can be used to obtain shipping status via their respective online sites (www.usps.com, www.ups.com, or www.fedex.com). Generally, these shipping numbers are provided automatically for all domestic and international shipments. Please keep in mind that for First Class International and Priority Mail International Flat Rate delivery methods, the tracking updates essentially stop once the USPS has processed your package and it has left the United States.

• I'm very happy to combine shipping on multiple items purchased from me and shipped together in a single box, saving you money and me supplies and time! • Local pickup is fine, and incurs absolutely no shipping or handling charges.

Payment Details

• PayPal is fine, and funding via your credit card, bank account, PayPal balance, etc. are all OK -- I don't discriminate against any PayPal funding options! Using PayPal is fast, easy, and will ensure speediest delivery.

• If using PayPal, I will generally only ship to confirmed PayPal addresses, although exceptions may be made for those with excellent response on a case-by-case basis.

• Credit/Debit cards, Venmo, Google Pay or other payments processed through 's payment system are also fine and have the same advantages and benefits as PayPal payments.

• Cash is OK, but ONLY if you're doing a local pick up. I'm sure you know better than to send cash in the mail!

• If you wish to use any form of payment other than PayPal, Credit/Debit cards, Venmo, or Google Pay, please contact me first to check if it is a suitable method and is allowed by 's payment policies. When using certain non-standard payment methods, there may be a shipment delay to allow time for your payment to be processed (typically a few business days). Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis and only for members with exceptionally positive response history.

Transaction response

• I typically leave response for buyers shortly after payment has been made. If I'm particularly busy, that response may be delayed a bit. Please rest assured, though, that I will not forget to leave it!

• I ask that once you have received your package and have thoroughly checked out your item, that you reciprocate and leave appropriate response for me. If you have any questions or concerns about your item, shipping, payment, or any other issue related to your purchase, please don't hesitate to email me. I will reply promptly - usually within an hour or two unless it's the wee hours of the morning and I'm asleep!

• bases their fees on a member's detailed response ratings for communications, whether the item was as described, shipping costs, and shipping time. Although they profess that scores of 4 or better are acceptable, in practice, any score less than 5 results in significantly higher 'Final Value' fees (up to 20% higher), which in turn leads to higher prices for buyers. So, if there's anything at all about your transaction that you feel does not merit a score of '5', please let me know right away what I could have done better to earn that score.

• Shipping Time: please keep in mind that I have absolutely zero control over how long the US Post Office or other contracted carriers take to actually deliver a package to you once they have it in their possession. All I can promise is that all items are shipped either the same day as payment is received or at worst, the very next business day. Parcel Post, in particular, can take a week or longer to cover the distance between California and the East Coast, so if that poses a problem for you, you may want to opt for one of the expedited shipping options! For international buyers, please be aware that shipping time is impacted greatly by how quickly the customs agents of your country process your package. If they are particularly busy (for example, during the winter holiday season), the added delay can be quite substantial! For whichever shipping option you choose, keep in mind that the 'Shipping Time' score is meant to reflect how quickly a seller posts an item after it has been paid for - not how long the carrier takes to actually deliver the package using the buyer's chosen delivery method!!!
