Up for sale is a used NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 Pro MR6400.
This model thus far has been exclusive to DISH Project Genesis customers. We have factory unlocked it, having been a customer for a year now. This model is in excellent, like new working condition - it even has the factory screen protector.
But because it is a year old, it is being sold without warranty. So due to the price, we strongly recommend purchasing an extended warranty - either with or a rival policy like Asurion Home Plus or Assurant Pocket Geek Home. These ultra-high-end 5G hotspots have a higher than average failure rate, and it\'s worth the investment.
The MR6400 is identical to the MR6550, the highest end hotspot sold today, except it lacks mmWave. Because mmWave is only used in stadiums and very urban environments today, you likely do not need it. But it does not have the limitations of the MR6150 otherwise. The MR6400 has 2.5 Gbps Ethernet and 6 GHz Wi-Fi 6e.
VERY IMPORTANT: This hotspot can only be used with T-Mobile and Verizon hotspot/router SIMs in the United States. You will not be able to sign up for the DISH Project Genesis hotspot plan, as it is no longer offered. No Project Genesis account is being transferred with this sale.
Additionally, no carrier will set up a new line of service for this device. You must first activate a 4G LTE or 5G hotspot, and them move the SIM over, and confirm the APN is set correctly. If you are not comfortable with this, it probably isn\'t the device for you.
AT&T customers are better off with an MR6500, which is cheaper, but limited to their cellular signals. The MR6400 bests the MR6500, aside from mmWave, by fully supporting all of T-Mobile and Verizon\'s Sub-6 cellular frequencies. AT&T is notorious about denying uncertified devices, so we don\'t guarantee use on AT&T. We can confirm it works fine on both T-Mobile and Verizon hotspot/data-only SIM cards.
This device may be expensive, but is priced below the cheapest MR6550 on right now. It is priced fairly considering what you get, and what\'s available on the market today. Aside from the MR6550, there is no hotspot more powerful for T-Mobile or Verizon today.
Shipping Note: Due to USPS banning used batteries, if you choose USPS Express Mail, we will not include the battery. The device will work plugged in without battery. Batteries are readily available online. If you want the battery, you must ship with UPS.
