Store Categories Store Categories PCI to PCIe x16 PCI Express / PCI-X Bridge Card Chip PEX8112 Industrial grade Drive-free
Product Description
The PEX 8112 supports forward and reverse bridging as defined by PCI to PCI Express/PCI-X Bridge Specification 1.0.
In forward mode, the bridge allows legacy PCI chips and adapters to be used with new PCI Express processor systems. Reverse bridging
Operation allows traditional PCI processors and chipsets to configure and control PCI Express switches and endpoints.
Conversely, the PEX 8112 not only allows downstream PCI Express systems to be fully configured from the PCI bus, but can also handle limited PCI Express root functionality for reverse interrupts and power management events.
