This is my personal DS916+ and it has the most recent DMS (as of the date of this listing). It is VERY CLEAN and is ready to go. I used it in a RAID-5 configuration with three (3) drives and one (1) drive as a hot spare.
Since it has been factory reset, you can configure it to your own needs.
