Vintage 1999 Razer Boomslang 2000 First Edition Gaming Mouse AS-IS For Repair
Up for sale is an incredibly rare piece of PC gaming history: an original 1999 Razer Boomslang 2000 First Edition gaming mouse. This was the world's first dedicated high-DPI gaming mouse and is highly sought after by retro enthusiasts.
TECHNICAL & TESTING DETAILS:This mouse was tested on a modern Windows 10 setup. The vertical (up and down) tracking works flawlessly. The horizontal (left and right) tracking registers raw movement for a brief second immediately upon plugging into a USB port, but then locks up. This is a common legacy hardware handshake issue with modern operating systems and USB polling rates. Likely just needs an old PC and driver update to work great, but I am selling it "for repair" due to this issue.
