The RIFA Safety capacitor in the power supply has been replaced. These are known to crack from age and fail. (Letting out smoke)
The disk drive and computer have been tested and the drive loaded an Appleworks disk as shown in the screen shot picture.
You\'ll need a display of some sort that can handle the composite out on an Apple IIe. I used a modern LCD TV with composite input (Yellow RCA plug). The TV displayed a black and white picture. The original Apple Monitors were mostly monochrome green screen.
