Up for sale is a nostalgic lot of three (3) vintage computer science and programming textbooks spanning the late 1980s to the late 1990s. This bundle is perfect for retro-computing hobbyists, software archivers, or vintage tech collectors.
WHAT IS INCLUDED: 1. Discovering Computers: A Link to the Future (1997) - Shelly, Cashman, Waggoner - HIGHLIGHT: Features the original factory-sealed, intact paper envelope on the inside back cover containing the original 3.5-inch floppy disk. The software has never been opened or exposed to dust/wear.
- Details: This is an ex-library copy originally belonging to Tulsa Junior College (NEC Business Services Division), featuring a vintage checkout pocket glued to the inside front cover. Outer cover has light shelf wear, and the internal pages are clean.
2. MS BASIC: Programming the IBM/PC (1989 First Edition) - Matthews & Murtha - Details: Published by Franklin, Beedle & Associates.
- Condition: Structurally sound binding with normal vintage cosmetic edge wear on the cover. Please note that internal pages feature minimal blue highlighting, minor underlines, and occasional light pencil notations on a few study pages (see photos). Overall, it remains a very clean, highly legible reference copy for early GWBASIC/Microsoft BASIC programming.
3. Study Guide to accompany Living with Computers - Robert D. Brown / Patrick G. McKeown - Details: Classic 1980s computing study guide (Copyright 1986) with great retro circuit board cover art.
- Condition: Please note that this specific copy was well-loved and thoroughly utilized by a student. It contains extensive handwritten ink notes, completed quiz sections, underlines, and highlighting on the internal study pages (see photos). Binding remains perfectly tight and all pages are fully readable.
