Own a piece of nostalgia with this Macintosh Performa 550 from October 1994!
Includes: Macintosh Performa 550, Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, and Cables (power, mouse, keyboard)This computer is in good working condition, but there are some flaws to note:
-The CD Drive does not open. It appears to be a stuck/non-working eject button. (see photos, circled in blue) I believe this can be remedied through a replacement or an external CD drive.-The computer and accessories are discolored due to age and it was once white but is now yellow-There are a few minor broken/chipped pieces. The front panel has chipped corners, and the back panel a missing tab. These broken parts are circled in blue on the photos.
-General surface scuffs and scratches due to age and use
-Drop down menus: currently, I have to long press on a drop down menu or it will disappear after I click it. While long pressing, I am able to scroll the menus normally without any issue, and then I release for the program I want to run.
-The mouse has tape on the wire from previous owner, presumably where it is bending/breaking. (Photographed)
This computer will not be reformatted and will include all the current programs. Excel is not currently working, but Microsoft Word is. Overall, the computer system seems to run well.Thank you for supporting our small business!
