This sale is for a vintage NEC Versa SX laptop. This laptop was given to our department by the original owner and includes all of its original accessories. Per our security policy, all personal data has been erased. The battery no longer holds a charge but includes the original AC adapter.

Cosmetic wise: This laptop has been on the road for most of its life so it has been well used. The palm rest shows signs of wear and the Pentium II sticker is starting to peel off. The keys also show signs of wear. The lids show some scuffs and unfortunately there are two cracks forming near both hinges. The RAM cover shows some discoloration but the bottom chassis shows little wear. The AC adapter also has some white flecks as if it was accidently painted.
Performance wise: Starting from a cold boot does take some time and the laptop does make some humming sounds when starting up. These sounds stop once the laptop boots up. In Windows, performance is pretty decent for its age but performance dips are to be expected with vintage hardware and OS.
