1984 Apple Macintosh 128K, model M0001 — the very first Macintosh Apple ever made, and a true piece of computing history.Housing in good vintage condition. No cracks or chips.The internal drive does not accept a disk.The motor works. Technician says it might be as simple as cleaning and lubricating, but could need replacement. It's not in my expertise to try servicing it.
The computer works by booting off the external drive.The external drive accepts, reads, and ejects disks normally.The keyboard and mouse work normally.The CRT display works well and that's the part collectors worry about most on these machines.
The lines on the screen in the video are not actually on the computer screen, they are an artifact of my phone camera.
