Wacom Intuos5 Touch Medium (PTH-650) — Tablet Only

PLEASE READ: No pen and no cable are included. This tablet cannot be used without a compatible pen, which must be purchased separately. Compatibility list below.

TESTED AND WORKING

Every function below was individually verified on this specific unit:

• USB connection and driver detection

• Pen tracking across the full active area

• Pen pressure sensitivity (2048 levels)

• Both pen barrel buttons

• All 8 ExpressKeys

• Touch Ring rotation and center toggle button

• Multi-touch gestures (scroll, pinch-zoom, swipe)

Same core hardware as the Intuos Pro (PTH-651): identical 8.8 x 5.5 in active area, identical 2048 pressure levels, identical 5080 lpi resolution, the same 8 ExpressKeys and Touch Ring, and the same pen compatibility. The main difference between the two models is that the Intuos Pro shipped with the wireless kit included — not part of this sale either way. A lower-cost route to the same drawing hardware.

DRIVER — PLEASE READ

The Intuos5 series has reached end of driver support and requires the legacy Wacom driver 6.3.46-2. It will not work with Wacom's current driver releases (6.4.x), which no longer include this model. The legacy driver is free but is not on Wacom's main download page — search Wacom's support site for the 6.3.46-2 legacy driver.

Please confirm compatibility with your operating system before purchasing.

This unit was tested and confirmed fully working with driver 6.3.46-2 on macOS Sequoia 15.8 — pen tracking, pressure, all 8 ExpressKeys, Touch Ring, and multi-touch all functional.
