Note: Please let me know what size nuggets you would like and please read shipping information at bottom of this page. Thanks!Up for sale are one pound lots of tumbled native copper nuggets from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This area known as the "Copper Country" or the "Keweenaw Peninsula" is known world wide for it's extremely pure and unique copper specimens.
Great for resale or many other uses! These are the same pure natural copper nuggets from Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula that you will see listed on other sales or websites for jewelry making, medical uses, metaphysical properties, and many others. There are no purer natural native copper nuggets...if you are buying nuggets sourced from the Keweenaw from me or others, there is no better or purer copper available anywhere. These have been tumbled and sorted by size. All are 100% pure native natural copper. Nothing ever from smelters or other sources! The copper has never been heated, melted or cast. These nuggets do sometimes contain some host rock as can be seen in the pictures. All Michigan copper nuggets do. Larger sizes naturally may have more than smaller ones. Again, being from a natural metal source, some may contain no host rock and some may have more. We sort out any nuggets we notice that seem to have more than an average amount of rock. The pictures show average random samplings.I tumble and sort these nuggets and sell them on a wholesale basis. If you need large quantities contact me and I can help! I sell to many retailers who re-sell these at various shows, stores, even ! I may have other items for larger lots at a lower per-pound price, check my other items.NUGGET SIZES:
I sell these in various sizes, you just need to let me know what size range you would like when you order. (there is usually a comment area when you purchase through PayPal...) I can mix and match sizes per order; for example 2 lbs. small and 2 lbs. large in one order of 4 lbs. total.
We normally have six standard size ranges:X-Small - 1/4" to 3/8"Small - 3/8" to 3/4" (US Dimes and Pennies fall in this range for comparison)Med. - 3/4" to 1" (US Nickels and Quarters fall in this range for comparison) Temporarily Limited Quantities!Large - 1" to 1-1/2" (US Fifty cent pieces fall in this range for comparison) Temporarily Out of Stock! (2-3 weeks)Xlarge - 1-1/2" to 2" Temporarily Out of Stock! (2-3 weeks)XXLarge - 2" to 4" (Many of these larger nuggets in this size range can easily be over a pound each, I can pick nuggets closer to the smaller or larger end of this size range if you let me know.)Please note: these are screened to sort them...meaning that a nugget measuring 1-1/4" x 4", for example, can end up in a "Large" size lot. We try to visually sort these out, but we can't measure each and every nugget... and we cannot fill requests for exact size and shape nuggets. These are naturally random sized and shaped nuggets!
