Picturedis an originalWWI US Army M1917 helmet painted with 32nd InfantryDivision insignia and rank stripes. Helmet is 100% original andis complete with full liner andunbroken chin strap. Helmet has no dents or cracks. Retains approximately 80% of original finish.Painted insignia is in excellent condition and ismore subdued which leads me to believe it was a war time paint job and not a post war parade helmet. There is a partial name written in green pencil on inner rim, all I can make out is \"Ray\". This is an outstanding original helmet that will make a superb addition to your collection!
