A Latitude D610 that looks great, from the entire exterior to the XGA/1024 x 768 screen! One would be hard-pressed to find many blemishes here! I acquired it 7 or 8 yrs ago on my incessant quest for laptops with parallel ports. The 14.1" screen's hinges are quite good, with a tangential movement (slop) of only 1/4" at the top edge of screen (when opened at 90 deg). It has Windows XP Professional installed, with a COA sticker. It has a CD/DVD drive, and the keyboard and touchpad/buttons look and function great. Everything works as far as I can tell. I think it has Wireless built in, as evidenced by the Broadcom "DW1370" card (which has the antenna cables attached). In the photo, they are unattached as I had removed the display to check on the fan and "re-seat" the cpu cooler. Should be great for retro gaming, writing (tall screen, great keyboard feel), programming,or any geeky engineering things (e.g. stepper motor control) made easier by the presence of a parallel port! The battery works and charges to 100%, but no guarantees as to how long it actually lasts. The laptop will ship with a genuine Dell charger (PA-12), which also works great. I added most or all necessary drivers, and there's a folder (in the C directory) with subfolders of those and several other drivers. Note: I'm shipping USPS Ground Advantage as it's apparently required due to the lithium ion batteries (USPS seems contradictory so far with their dos and don'ts related to Li-ion batteries).
