The HP original gears were prone to breakage. Hp no longer sells these gears. You must use care when replacing the gear so as not to damage it during installation. Also, I use a little silicone lube on the new gear to help prolong life.15-Tooth Direct Replacement for Broken Gear.* Be sure to count that your broken gear has 15 teeth.
