V6 hotend -- either Bowden or Direct depending on your selectionInstallation typically requires custom printer modifications - please understand what will be required before purchasing. You need to be comfortable fabricating/printing custom mounts for the hotend, wiring your controller board, etc. If you have any doubts about your ability to do this, please do not purchase.This kit includes:
- a standard V6 / "J-Head" style hotend including heater, fan, and 0.4mm nozzle.
- Also includes 1M of bowden tubing (if Bowden option is selected) per hotend
- one all-metal heatbreak (if all-metal option is selected) per hotend
If you select the all-metal option, we either send the hotend with preinstalled all-metal heatbreak, or include the heatbreak separately in the package for you to swap.
We have used some of this batch of hotends ourselves and they've been great. QC on E3D clones has a reputation for being hit or miss. Our experience so far with this batch has been 100% positive. Machining quality is excellent, especially where it counts (the bore / filament path). The all-metal heatbreaks we ship are more expensive than some others on the market, and this is reflected in machining quality. This is important because tiny burrs inside the heatbreak abrade filament and lead to buildups and clogs over time.
