For Sale is one 4 inch Silicon wafer that was manufactured by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in the mid 1980\'s. VERY RARE. This wafer has gone through the \"SORT\" process When the wafer is \"sorted\', a machine tests every individual device on the wafer and places an ink mark on the defective devices. The un-inked devices are then assembled and go thru a final test before sale. Very Rare to find a 4 inch wafer from Advanced Micro Devices !! Own a piece of Silicon Valley history ! NOTE: 100% guarantee it is an old AMD wafer: Proof of AMD lies in the 3rd photo. If you know the corporate logo, you can see it in the center of the magnified die photo. You really need a high powered microscope to see this more clearly and also be able to make out the actual device number as well.
