ADS Technologies USB 2.0 Drive Kit USBX-804 – IDE External Drive Enclosure

Vintage ADS Tech USB 2.0 Drive Kit, model USBX-804. This kit was designed to convert an internal IDE/ATA hard drive or CD/DVD drive into an external USB 2.0 device.

Included:

* ADS USBX-804 external drive enclosure

* ADS 24x10x40 CD-RW drive

* External power supply

* Removable drive bezel/cover

* Mounting screws/hardware

* Original installation/software CD

* Original installation manual

* Original retail box

Please note: The USB 2.0 cable and flat IDE/ATA ribbon cable are NOT included. These are the two cables shown as included with the original kit and are missing from this set.

The included CD-RW drive is shown in the photos. I have not represented the CD-RW drive as tested, so please consider it untested unless you verify it before listing.

The original box has significant storage/age wear, including creasing, scuffing and some torn areas. The enclosure itself appears to be in good cosmetic condition for its age.
