APA-L2458-08A is an 8 dBi 2.4/5 GHz dual band directional outdoor panel antenna with N-female connectors. It is a great way to boost your WiFi signal over a long distance when using with a compatible dual band wireless receiver. **We are including a free bonus N-male to N-male barrel converter so you can use this antenna with either an N-male device or an N-female device. For example, with the barrel converter, this antenna will fit the ALFA Tube-UAC2 long range USB WiFi receiver. It includes the antenna and mounting bracket, brand new in box from Alfa Network. A directional antenna concentrates its gain all in the direction it is aimed. It will do a better job piercing obstacles and interference in that direction, but will not pick up as many signals in total as an omni-directional antenna.
