Apple II 3.5 Floppy Interface Card LIRON 603-9107-A 820-0117-A ASCO 508
Price: US $134.99
ITEM OVERVIEW

Original Apple Computer 3.5 Floppy Disk Drive Interface Card from 1985 with its attached rainbow ribbon cable and DB-19 drive connector.

This is the desirable LIRON / ASCO 508 controller used to connect an Apple UniDisk 3.5 to compatible Apple II systems.

DESCRIPTION

Genuine vintage Apple floppy-drive controller card with numerous original identifying markings still clearly visible.

The card is marked 603-9107-A, 820-0117-A, Apple 3.5 Floppy Disk Drive Interface Card, ©1985, ASCO 508, IF-98, and 1-616-130-12. It also retains the original rainbow ribbon cable and DB-19 connector.

Prominent installed chips include the Apple-marked 344-0041-B IWM controller dated © Apple 1982/83 and an A2C2002 V1 / RP2D33E-0305 device.

This card came from the large, carefully stored vintage Apple collection. I do not currently have the compatible Apple II/UniDisk setup needed to perform a full functional test.
