For sale is an Applied Engineering TransWarp 4300 accelerator card for vintage Macintosh LC-series systems, such as the LC, LC II, and Color Classic.
This card includes the Applied Engineering Mac Cache daughtercard and socket for an optional Motorola MC68882FN40A floating point unit. The main processor is a Motorola MC68EC030FE40B 40MHz CPU.
The TransWarp 4300 was an accelerator upgrade for 68030-based Macintosh LC-style PDS systems, including machines such as the Macintosh LC, LC II, and Color Classic. A period MacUser article also notes that Applied Engineering's VideoX expansion card could attach to the TransWarp 4300, which appears to explain the additional finger-edge connector on the card.
Includes the original Applied Engineering AE Warp Control Panel floppy disk, version 1.3.
