The B1 Next Gen combines aptX Adaptive coding, a built-in 32-bit DAC, and extended wireless range for high-quality Bluetooth audio.
DAC Characteristics
The B1 Bluetooth Receiver uses the ES9018K2M DAC, which is known for low noise and high fidelity. The B1 functions as an upsampling 32-bit Bluetooth DAC and pads incoming bit depths internally to 32 bits, helping achieve a higher signal-to-noise ratio. The ES9018K2M DAC, 32-bit upsampling, and triple-redundant power-source conversion and filtering help the B1 deliver low-noise and low-distortion performance.
Extended Range
Many Bluetooth products have a limited range that typically works within one room. Careful signal-management circuitry and antenna tuning allow the B1 to reach beyond one room without degrading audio quality.
High-Quality Bluetooth Audio
The B1 supports aptX Adaptive and aptX HD, advanced Bluetooth codecs designed for higher-quality wireless sound. It is also backward-compatible with aptX, AAC, and SBC, allowing music to stream wirelessly from nearly any Bluetooth-enabled device.
Optical Output
The B1 also functions as a wireless audio bridge from a Bluetooth device to a favorite DAC or preamp. Use the B1's internal DAC through the RCA analog outputs, or connect the optical output to another DAC.
