Vintage Belkin F5U248 USB 2.0 8-in-1 Media Reader/Writer & CF + SD Cards

The F5U248 is an early USB 2.0 multi-format media reader from the Windows XP era. It provides access to CompactFlash, IBM Microdrive, SmartMedia, SD/MMC, Memory Stick and compatible legacy media formats. This listing includes the F5U248 with USB cable, 1 4GB CF card, 1 512MB SD and 2 1GB SD cards. These four memory cards have been tested in the reader and are included as working media. The reader has also been tested with a 32GB CompactFlash card. All tests were done on a Windows 11 Pro PC. All cards were successfully recognized and accessed. However, a 32GB mSD card was tested using a mSD to SD card adapter and it failed to read. This is provided as a test result, not as a guarantee that the F5U248 can support cards larger than the ones we tested.

IMPORTANT: This is a vintage reader originally designed in the early 2000s. Modern SDHC/SDXC and other newer media standards may not be compatible. The included cards are older SD and CompactFlash media selected to be appropriate for this type of reader. (see ORIGINAL OLD SPECS BELOW)

No original driver CD is included. The USB cable is included. Sold as a tested vintage media-reader bundle. Please review the photographs for the exact condition and included items.
