I purchased this a few weeks ago on and I did not notice that it is a TN339Y instead of the TN336Y that my printer uses. The boxes look identical otherwise and I just didn't read the numbers carefully.
I opened the cardboard box and the foil pouch. The cartridge is the same size, but there are keyways that make it not actually go into the printer. Yes, I feel foolish.
I removed it and put it back in the foil and box. It is not damaged. It was listed as a new, genuine Brother cartridge with a sealed foil pouch when I bought it, and as stated previously, I could not use it.
I have not refilled it in an attempt to pass it off as new. If it is a refill, then the person I bought it from did a great job of sealing both the foil pouch and the cardboard box.
I'm selling it at a loss since I opened it.
