Cisco PVDM3-64 high-density packet voice digital signal processor module. This is the module only. No router, no cables, no license, and no original box.

This module works in Cisco ISR Generation 2 routers that have a PVDM3 slot: 2901, 2911, 2921, 2951, 3925, 3945, 3925E, and 3945E. A Unified Communications license on the router is required for voice features. The module does not include that license.
This module does not work in
• Cisco 2800 or 3800 series (those use PVDM2)
• Cisco ISR 4000 series (those use PVDM4, NIM-PVDM, or SM-X-PVDM)
• Any PC, server, or desktop. This is not computer RAM, even though it looks like a memory module
• A router that has no free PVDM3 slot, or that already has the slot filled
Confirm your exact router model and that the PVDM3 slot is empty before you buy. A PVDM4, PVDM2, or NIM-PVDM is not a substitute and will not fit this slot.
Condition and handling Module is shown in the photos. Gold contacts are visible. It has been stored loose, in factory packaging. It has not been installed or tested in a router by me, and I cannot demonstrate channel count, codec support, or registration in IOS. Treat it as untested hardware. Static can damage this board. Handle it by the edges and use an ESD strap when installing.
What is not included No Cisco IOS, no UC or SRST license, no SmartNet, no configuration help, and no router. Installing it does not add voice ports by itself.
You still need the matching voice interface card or voice gateway, and the right IOS feature set.
Before you offer or buy:
Check your router model against the list above. If your router is a 2800, 3800, or 4000 series, do not buy this. I will not accept a return because the module will not work in an unsupported router, because a license is missing, or because the buyer did not confirm the slot. Ask for the router model before purchase if you are unsure.
Ship and pack Ships in an anti-static bag and a rigid mailer so the board cannot flex. Photos are of the actual module.
