Lot of CompuServe online service software and documentation spanning nearly a decade of the platform's history. CompuServe was the first major commercial online service in the United States, predating both AOL and Prodigy, and was widely regarded as the choice of serious computer enthusiasts and professionals throughout the 1980s and 1990s. This collection covers both the Macintosh and Windows platforms across multiple software generations.

The floppy disks include several versions of the CompuServe Information Manager (CIM), the graphical client that replaced the original text-based terminal interface. Included are MacCIM v2.4.3 disks (both single-disk and 2-disk set versions), WinCIM v2.0.1, WinCIM v1.3.1 (December 1994), a CompuServe 2.5 for Windows 4 disk set (sealed), and a CompuServe Information Manager disk bundled with a SupraFAX Modem (System 7 compatible). The sealed CompuServe 2000 Gold CD represents the service's final era after being acquired by AOL in 1998.
