The PC requirements to be met were: be capable of running VR titles (such as Half-Life Alyx), and newer games (such as Starfield) on all or a majority of the higher settings the games provide.

Customer also stated they need a thunderbolt 3 or 4 USB type C port for high-speed data transfers.

Customer also stated they needed Starfield to run better than originally planned and opted for graphics upgrade.

All of these requirements have been fulfilled, and all the PC is waiting on is the RGB lighting.

CONFIRMED TO RUN in 1080p:

STARFIELD: 90% Ultra settings, 30-50+ FPS depending on planet/area of exploration. Very crisp visuals on all spectrums. No compromises on visual sharpness at all.

Performed with GPU at max power %.

Half-Life Alyx VR: No issues on Medium Fidelity. Very smooth gameplay.

PC also ran on high but was eventually showing issues.

Fortnite: DX12 Epic settings, effects and post processing medium, Ray-Tracing enabled, 60+ fps.

Ray-Tracing disabled, 100+ fps.

All modern programs and modern games are recommended for all or mostly ULTRA settings.

Will of course run any older games like GTA or Forza 4 on max settings with 4k no problem.

Final Notes:

As this is an Ultra-high-end gaming machine, it should be treated as such, with as much care and monitoring of temperatures for essential components as possible.

This application is used to adjust graphics card, power, clock, and fan settings and to also display the real-time easy-to-read FPS and hardware monitoring in-game overlay on the top left corner.

THIS CAN BE TOGGLED ON/OFF in-game WITH THE ‘Insert’ key on your keyboard often located near the ‘delete’ key.

The graphics card also relies on this program opening on startup to keep itself properly cooled at a steady 60-66 degrees under full load. Removal of this program will result in a hotter-running graphics card, which you have no control of.

There are 3 pre-configured overclocking presets that have been added for use at your own leisure for any games that seem to need just a little added fps boost or additional smoothness without lowering the settings.

Select numbers 1 through 3 on the right side of the MSI Afterburner interface and click the check mark to apply the preset.

The 5th preset is for crypto mining.

The PC also comes with CoreTemp installed(shown) which is a dedicated CPU temperature monitoring software. It shows your core temperatures of each individual core of your processor in your taskbar. It is recommended to check this periodically to ensure idle temperatures and CPU load temperatures are well below 75 degrees. Double-clicking the program shows the current, lowest, and highest temperatures it has hit since you turned the PC on, along with the current speed each core is running at.

It is very small, and does not use up computer resources.

So it is also highly recommended you keep this program installed to make for easy CPU temperature monitoring while using windows normally.

PC comes with light controlling software for personalized RGB color assignment.

This PC has been extensively benchmarked and tested for stability with Userbenchmark, Cinebench, and Heaven3D benchmark, and PC proves itself to be an excellent 1080p gaming machine for mostly ULTRA quality settings.

All essential parts are confirmed to be running ABOVE or WAY ABOVE expectations (shown), meaning that this combination of parts is 100% functional and proves to be configured in such a way that does not create any lack of potential.

Issues/Possible Concerns:

This PC functions as it should and has no issues software-wise.

The case is used, but is still in OK used condition.

The right side panel is not in the best condition as it has some visible scratches.. the front panel also features some minimal faceplate damage, as well as some very light scratches on the left of the top panel.

Any errors with this case are otherwise mostly unnoticeable from 2-3ft away or while in a low-light environment.

It must also be noted that this case’s thermodynamics are not the best.. therefore this machine will cool a lot better with the main side panel removed.

This however will make the machine more prone to dust, debris, and possible accidental injury or damage to the machine, so remove at your own risk as long as you’re confident with the machine’s placement.

Please do not place this machine in an enclosed space, or very high up, as it prefers sufficient ambient airflow to ensure proper cooling.

The right front USB is also non-functional. It is properly connected, but seems to malfunction every time something is connected. The one on the left works no problem along with the front headphone and mic ports.
