The 5x86 was Cyrix's flagship 486-class upgrade CPU, architecturally

close to Pentium-class performance while remaining pin-compatible

with 486 Socket 2/3 motherboards — a favorite among retro upgraders

for extending the life of legacy systems.

Condition: Excellent — all 168 pins are perfectly straight, no bent

or missing pins, and no visible oxidation or corrosion whatsoever.

Label is clean and fully legible with sharp, vivid printing (see

actual photos — what you see is what you get).

A genuinely well-preserved example, ideal for both display/collection

and functional 486 rebuild projects.
