EDIFIER Hecate G2000 Gaming Speakers Pink - 100-240V Worldwide, RGB, gaming gear is easy to find and hard to find well made.
Most of it is a colour applied to a cheap product. The G2000 is a properspeaker that happens to come in pink - Edifier have made audio equipment forover twenty years, and Hecate is the gaming line they built by taking thatexperience across rather than starting fresh.
Two 7 cm Hi-Fi full-range drivers with composite fibre cones and shieldedreflector construction. Eight watts each, from independent power stages -which is what allows Edifier to specify 8W + 8W of continuous distortion-freeoutput rather than a peak figure measured for a fraction of a second.
A full-range driver at this size also avoids the crossover problems thatsmall two-way desktop speakers have.
Three inputs, which is more useful than it sounds: Bluetooth 4.2 for aphone, USB for a computer, and a 3.5 mm jack for a console. Leave the PC onUSB and take a call over Bluetooth without touching a cable.
Three sound modes - MUSIC, GAME and MOVIE - switch EQ profiles through adedicated sound processing chip rather than simply changing the volumebalance.
Eleven RGB lighting patterns on the rear: five solid colours, four flashing,a flashing gradient through the spectrum, and a fade gradient that shiftscolour continuously.

All you need is a plug adapter for your socket type, which costs verylittle. No step-down transformer, no voltage concern, and no risk ofdamaging the unit.
The adapter supplied has a Japanese Type A plug - two flat parallel pins.That plug fits North American sockets directly. Elsewhere, a simple plugadapter is all that is required.
BLUETOOTH 4.2 AND 16W - CHECK YOU HAVE THE RIGHT VERSION
Edifier have released more than one G2000. This one, the Japanesedistribution model ED-G2000-PK, is Bluetooth 4.2 with 16 W total output(8 W + 8 W).
A later revision exists with Bluetooth 5.1 and higher output. If youspecifically want that version, this is not it.

98 Hz LOWER LIMIT - THERE IS NO SUBWOOFERThese are 2.0 channel speakers with 7 cm drivers. Frequency response startsat 98 Hz, which means deep bass is not there.
For desktop gaming, music, and video at desk distance, that is normal andthese are well judged for it. If you want chest-thump bass, you want a 2.1system with a subwoofer.
Stating this plainly so expectations match reality.
PINK - CHECK THE PHOTOGRAPHSColour reproduction varies between screens. Please look at the photographsrather than relying on the word "pink" - and message me if you would likeadditional pictures under different light.
RGB IS ON THE REARThe lighting is on the back of the cabinets, designed to wash against thewall or the desk behind. Positioned against a wall the effect isconsiderable; in open space, less so.

SPEAKER CONES ARE FRAGILEThe drivers are exposed. They are packed with protection, but please unpackcarefully and do not press on the cones - a dented cone cannot be repaired.
