Compatible HPE Aruba 100GBase-SR4 QSFP28 Optical TransceiverProduct Overview
This compatible HPE Aruba 100GBase-SR4 QSFP28 optical transceiver is a high-performance 100 Gigabit Ethernet module designed for short-range connectivity over multimode fiber. Operating at an 850nm wavelength with an MPO-12 connector, this module supports transmission distances of up to 100 meters over OM4 multimode fiber and 70 meters over OM3 multimode fiber.
The module uses 4×25G NRZ parallel optics, transmitting and receiving over four independent optical lanes. It is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-SR4 and QSFP28 MSA standards, and supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DDM/DOM) for real-time monitoring of optical parameters.
Note: SR4 is not supported for use over OM1 or OM2 fiber.
