This is hands down one of the best 1080p wide angle fixed focus webcams. This model has a 2.1mm lens, there is another model with the 3.1mm lens that is identical to the ViewSonic VB-CAM-001, this lens is almost 120-degrees Field of View (FoV). The MJPEG looks as good as YUY2 and there is hardly any noise. I upgraded to the Mokose C100 and Avaya HC020 myself personally, but this is a fraction of the price. The part about this webcam is that you can take off the monitor base, and there is a 1/4" 20 thread to attach it to a tripod or other stand.
